Terms entered here will be searched for in the various selected fields.
 
The search engine does not distinguish between words with and without accentuation and diacritic signs.
A search for maristan produces the same result as a search for maristân.
 
The order of the words has no impact on the result. Searches for kalila dimna and dimna kalila will produce all the documents whose descriptions contain the words «kalila» and/or «dimna».
 
The use of quotation marks "kalila wa dimna" enables visitors to carry out a search for a string of words. All the results will contain exactly these terms. There is no default search.
 
Use of the metacharacter star * enables visitors to search for any string of characters (including an empty string). Hence, a search for graphy will produce documents that contain the terms 'graphy' and 'graphies', but a search for *graphy will search for terms such as 'iconography', 'calligraphy', 'monography', 'graphies', and so on.
