These two panels have a stylised floral decoration suggestive of a palmette whose core contains a bunch of grapes. The similarity between these sculptures and the Umayyad decorations found in the castles of the Syrian desert[1] and others of the Abbassid era (first half of the eighth century) excavated at Raqqa (Syria) is striking.
